I couldn’t resist another trip up to Scotland before the end of the Winter season. This time a re-visit to the beautiful area of Glencoe (Munros Completed : Bidean nam Bian (28), Stob Coire Sgreamhach (29)).
Change of plan took me up towards Glenshee and some Mountaineering in the Cairnwell hills (Munros Completed : The Cairnwell (25), Carn Aosda (26), Carn a’Gheoidh (27)).
It has been one of best Winters in Scotland for many years so I relished a trip back to the Cairngorms (Munros Completed : The Devil’s Point (24)).
An ascent of the Matterhorn via the NE Hornli ridge, one of the classic climbs of mountaineering.
Alpine Mountaineering in the Brenta Dolomites climbing the peak of the Presanella. This peak above 3,500 m is the highest in the Adamello range of mountains.

Munro bagging in the Northern Highlands around Ullapool. (Munros Completed : Conival (20), Ben More Assynt (21)).
A trip to the Adamello mountain range to climb the Adamello peak (3,539m) in the Brenta range.
A 4 day trip to the black Cuillins on the Isle of Skye also known as the ‘British Alps’ due to their precipitous slopes and sharp ridges.
Ice climbing in the French Chamonix & Italian Cogne Valley.
