Six more Munros bagged in the Glen Shiel hills (Munros Completed : Aonach Meadhoin (42), Sgurr a’Bhealaich Dheirg (43), Creag a’Mhaim (44), Druim Shionnach (45), Maol Chinn-dearg (46), Aonach air Chrith (47)).
Early March is always a good time to visit Scotland with the lighter nights and good snow conditions so I headed to the Glen Shiel hills (Munros Completed : A’Chraileag (A’ Chralaig) (39), Mullach Fraoch-choire (40), Ciste Dubh (41)).
The cold, snowy start to the Winter season was a good opportunity to head back up to Scotland early. Although often cloudy, the wind was light and the snow deep (Munros Completed : Ben Lomond (33)).
Back to the Crianlarich hills for the New Year (Munros Completed :Ben More (37), Stob Binnein (38)).
Back to the Arrochar Alps to climb Ben Vane (Munros Completed : Ben Vane (36)).
A solitary Munro and probably one of the least enjoyable Munros I have completed (Munros Completed : Beinn Chabhair (35)).
A lovely and easily accessible Munro. (Munros Completed : Ben Vorlich (34)).
Rains most of the day but a small window of clear weather allows me to bag a small one (Munros Completed : Buachaille Etive Beag-Stob Coire Raineach (32)).
I couldn’t resist another trip up to Scotland before the end of the Winter season. This time a re-visit to the beautiful area of Glencoe (Munros Completed : Beinn a’Bheithir-Sgorr Dhonuill (30), Beinn a’Bheithir-Sgorr Dhearg (31)).
